Dr. Mark Niemiec was raised in San Antonio, Texas, and graduated from the University of Texas Health & Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. He has been in practice for 20 years, the past 16 years of which have been in private practice in Taos. Dr. Niemiec has completed advanced studies in occlusion and jaw function, and has recently completed advanced training at the University of Southern California for complex surgical procedures, including implant placement. He is more than competent in all areas of dentistry, and is a personable and caring provider.

Lynn Lobato is our Board Certified Dental Hygienist. She graduated from The University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM. She has been a dental hygienist for over 26 years and has worked with our office for 4 years.

Cheryl is the wife of Dr. Niemiec (of 28 years!) and has joined the team as office manager. A graduate of Rice University in Houston, Texas, Cheryl has experience with administration and records as well as bookkeeping. She oversees the operations of the office and is happy to be available if you ever have insurance questions or other concerns.

Star has been with our office for over 15 years. She is not only a scheduling expert, but is experienced in all aspects of billing, insurance, and is a fully certified dental assistant as well. We are lucky to have her as part of our team.

Jacquie began as our dental tech and, after two and a half years, moved into a full-time assistant position. She is X-ray certified and is working towards her other certificates as well. Jacquie brings a lot of energy and happy smiles to our team.
